well the biggest problem i see even if google launches their maps app is that it might not feature the same level of integration as Apple maps. from what i understand apple does not allow users to change which apps to use for what kind of links. youtube links are surprisingly still opening in youtube app if the user has installed it (in ios6). but location based links might be restricted to apple maps and that would be a major headache. apple pushing their own app/service when you click on location based links. god knows what apple has planned in the long term for their mapping platform. i mean this is going to take a lot of effort and investment on their part.
Just wanna get rid of Apple maps .. Totally useless ..
Added the browser shortcut to homescreen for now .. Till google rescue us ..
This is the last apple product I will have .. Will be moving back to andorid ..
Apple products r nothing but all showoffs ..
ah well. i am not going to underestimate Apple. the kind of criticism they are getting right now... they might just acquire all the mapping companies (other than Nokia and google) . they have the money to do so
