Thats the perfect portrayal of what Apple thinks and stuff like that.I dont think they give a shit about people as long as they buy APPPLE.AAPL my ass. after 1bn dollar lawsuit, apple is pissing me off. I am sorry if it sounds anti-apple, because it is anti-apple.
Apple has always prided itself in giving products where things "just work perfectly". There were hiccups in between like MobileMe but by and large it was this perfection towards every detail that won over customers. User experience was something they took very seriously. Maps, though, has been a big let-down and as people are saying, is less of an iOS feature and more of an advertisement for Google. I don't think Apple will take all the criticism lightly. They will work out these flaws as soon as they can.
More of the same
iOS 6 came out yesterday with 200+ new features, prominent among them being the replacement of Google’s Maps service with Apple’s own app. Google has made no official statement yet but the web has gone nuts over a statement made to TechCrunch in which it states:

Dude that thirst for perfection was there because of a guy names Steve Jobs, he never let out any stuff leak out, and now most of details of iPhone 5 were already out before launch. If Jobs was still there Apple maps wouldn't be the way it is now lol.
Nokia spent 8 billion dollars for navteq. and microsoft is giving that same map to every wp8 device owner for practically free. that is pretty hilarious.

dude navteq apparently has 20 yrs of experience
totally worth it in my opinion, rather than make make twisted caterpillars and sunken roads........
but i think microsoft would have paid something atleast
you are missing my point. i am saying Nokia spent 8B for their maps which are some of the best in the market. their had exclusivity of these maps on their symbian and wp7 devices. microsoft pays them a billion dollars per year as part of their agreement... and in return they got access to 8B worth of maps that are now a core feature on their wp8 devices. the same maps also power their bing map platform. so basically, nokia is getting ****ed big time by microsoft.

Too early to presume that post-Jobs Apple will not keep customer satisfaction a priority. Only time will tell. Perhaps by the time iPhone 6 launches we will have a clearer perspective of things.
