@vishalrao I don't really have a high end system. However, it supports the following formats:
WAV (PCM format only) / FLAC: up to 192 kHz, ALAC: up to 96 kHz, MP3 / WMA / MPEG-4 AAC: up to 48 kHz
I am streaming Apple Music on my desktop and the audio unit is connected via HDMI. I am not sure if it supports ALAC 24 bit audio.
