Application wont connect to the internet - motorola L7i

im using motorola L7i and im able to surf the internet but my applications don't seem to be connecting to the internet...they give an error saying "couldn't connect to the internet"i have called vodafone helpline and they say my phone is not supported...this is untrue because i've manually applied settings to my phone and im able to surf the net...the vodafone helpline ppl don't have a solution for my problem in there database and are finding ways to avoid me...i downloaded gmail and opera mini which are unable to connect to the internet for some reason...anyways, does any tech ppl here have a solution??how can i make my application connect to the internet???i've fed up calling helpline and also fed up sms'ing LV to 52586

Plus in order to be able to use the internet on the unlocked phone you have to get the codes from the carrier you have and after entering them in, the phone still won't pick up certain websites. Also, my phone worked great f

I don't have this phone. Just trying/suggesting hints.

There seems to be different models of this phone.
