I am considering getting a three star 1.8T unit from Daikin to replace my aging 2T Carrier AC.
I have just checked the prices online. I believe it would cost me in the range of 40-45K depending upon the source.
The 5 star model costs around 8-10K more.
Wanted an idea if it is worth it. Assuming it would last me at least 10 years, I would not mind paying a premium over Hitachi or other brands.

Including installation i think. then also if you include the l-bracket & a wire connecting idu & odu and other petty accessories, installation should not go above 3000

they are charging a bit more for stablizer. and then there is stand and installation. and then the pipes etc. i guess the discount i was getting on the AC is being extracted through the stablizer :)

if you are buying inverter ac then it is not advisable to use stablilizer with inverter technology coz It comes with a supply box which supposedly converts Supply AC to DC then again converts it to Variable Freq (Controlled) AC
