Hi All,I am planning to buy my second desktop, and use the current one as HTPC. but don't want to go for a branded one. i checked and its coming down to 15k for a dual-core, 2 GB, 320 GB system. This is excluding monitor, as i will use my current LCD with the new one. My current desktop will be hooked to my LCD TV. this and similar price is quoted by various shops I visited in Gurgaon. But I am not sure which one to trust. I asked one of them to get me a Sony DVD writer, and they gave me different (retail) box, with OEM DVD writer. It is still Sony, but i think i paid atleast Rs 200 more for that OEM one, as i was charged for the retail boxed one. i went out of station for a month just after the installation, so could not follow up for that, and later leave it as it is. But worried if I get similar deal in my new desktop. Can anyone suggest a trusted and good dealer who can assemble my desktop?

his prices are a bit higher compared to the prices in Nehru Place but i have been dealing with them for like 5-6 years now and have no complaints.
they are located in sector 14... you can give my reference (sushubh).

the best way to deal with them is to give them specific model numbers and let them get them for you. they would check the availability on the phone and tell you if the components can be provided. and you can collect them the next day.

great, thanks, I will check them out for my new PC. I don't mind paying a little extra (thats the reason I went for the retail boxed DVD writer then OEM, but ended up getting OEM for the price of boxed). I can handle all software related issues, all I need is support for any hardware problems.
