Asus WL500W wireless router and Bsnl Dataone UL 900

HI guys,I recently got a Asus wireless router and i am not able to configure it to my Huawei MT880 modem. These are my settings..IP Address: 192.168.1.100Default gateway: 192.168.1.1Preferred DNS: 192.168.1.1Alt DNS: 218.248.255.145.I tried to connect once using my wireless router with the specified settings given in the router guide but its not working. Plz..help!

You could have given the model number.

Thnx for the quick reply... the model number is WL500W. I have tried giving the default settings..newayz i will try once more to see if it works.

seems to be the very latest Wireless router.
No user manual.
see the link/webpage ./screen shot. says Automatic configuration for VISTA.
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.



Change Preferred DNS to OpenDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
In computer LAN/properties/TCP/IP select assign auto IP address. retain/enter above DNS.
Presume you can connect with the MT880 modem to Internet.

PS: Sorry. I did not read the thread title earlier and asked you the model number again.
