An year back there were no good budget devices. It all started with Motorola and now I don't think I would be recommending a Moto device to someone. Moto G/E/X all have good competitors now.

What's the issue with this? It has double the RAM, same resolution and much better camera.

dual core lololol who buys that in 2014?

i'd rather recommend people Lava Iris 406Q (simply cos of Snapdragon quadcore) than this Asus model.

you cannot just compare a dual core processor from intel with a quad core processor from arm and say that arm is more powerful because it has more cores. i would rather check out the analysis from anandtech if they have done one already.

Just get a Moto if you ask me. Most people just need a good, comfy reliable device!! Moto does that just fine..

but lol with such shitty 2g/3g connection here in India i don't think most people buying such budget device give 2 fucks about video chat.
