Basic laser printer for home use

I am looking to get a basic laser printer for home use. Monochrome, single function printer. Linux support is a must.

I think he posted in the Ricoh thread. I am not sure about Linux compatibility. Too lazy to try out a live pen drive.

I had asked about Ricoh out of curiosity. Need a new printer as existing Canon is nearing end of life.

Ricoh is probably the best deal in the market considering the official refill packs provided by the company. That's why I went for it. Linux compatibility is hard to confirm. Let me check if I have a Linux pen drive around here.

The only laser printer that I've personally seen working on an Ubuntu build was HP Laserjet 1020. It is a very old model and I'm not sure if it's available in the market right now. If Ricoh works that's would be a much vfm choice and easier to refill too.

Which Linux distro do you use?

Cloud Printers are another alternative. But I doubt a laser model would be cheap.

Ubuntu/Elementary OS. I am looking for something inexpensive. Wireless printing could have been great. But laser+wireless is freaking costly.
