Basic laser printer for home use

I am looking to get a basic laser printer for home use. Monochrome, single function printer. Linux support is a must.

yeh that's true ! Mine HP is not cloud enabled so I just attached it directly to my Router and print /scan the things I need wirelessly via laptop.. It doesn't support mobile so I had to transfer all docs from my mobile to my attached local cloud via WiFi and then save it there or upload it to drive.

seriously. i was either using the camera on the phone to take photos of documents. or taking the printer downstairs to my pc to take scans. until i realized that there must be an app to scan. and HP has this great one. i mean usually their apps are shit but their all-in-one remote works great. i just hope they do not fuck it up. scanning on the phone is so much faster and smoother than scanning on a computer. it's insane. the app can generate multi-page pdfs! hard to believe hp could create an app that actually works well.

The reviews say that inks have same life like monochrome laser printers. This one does color and I need not run to computer shop for refill. The cost of original Epson Ink is same as the third-party Laserjet refill.

I currently have both. A HP Inkjet that is cloud enabled and a cheap Ricoh laser. I love them both. I can scan directly to my phone from the HP printer. I use this feature a lot. Any important document that comes in the house, I put it on it, scan it, turn it into a PDF, upload it to Google Drive right on my phone. It's incredible. I also print on this from multiple devices (everything wireless). I needed that because dad has a Chromebook. But I also use it for photocopies and taking colored printouts. A Rs. 500 cartridge works for around 6 months. Probably more. I have never really noticed because it lasts for long enough. Ricoh is a basic printer. Needs Windows. But works well for bulk printing. The original toner is working till now. Has been a while since I got it. I hear it can take the official Ricoh refills for at least 2-3 times so yeah it's incredibly cheap. But does not offer the convenience of a cloud enabled printer.

Hey sushubh, which hp printer are you referring here which you use?

Can someone confirm me if hp laser 126nw support cloud printing or not.
