Me(Aug'08) & my friend(Jul'08) bought Logitech EX90 wireless combo. To me the KB battery lasts for only 7 days & mouse for 1.5-2.0 months. To my friend KB & Mouse battery almost lasts for a month. For him the mouse battery drains more than the KB. We both browse a lot & play games.

Last month my friends Mouse right button failed. So he bought MK260 & totally satisfied. Will tell about it in the long run.

I'm eagerly waiting for the price drop of the following....

the problem is that there are duplicate batteries in market... so even i faced this problem.... it last only 10 days on my wireless logitech... the alkaline battery lasts arounf 6 months.... but this standaard(which i feel duplicate) last 10 days.

I used alkaline(Eveready/Duracell)....always using rechargeable batteries(Sony/Sanyo eneloop)....but the results are same.

Am I lucky? I use my keyboard and mouse everyday for odd hours (close to 20h sometimes!) and it has been around 6 months since I brought my Logitech K350 wireless keyboard and Logitech M505 wireless mouse.

Both have been fantastic from day 1 till date with no battery replacement required yet :)

Here's a pic from the Logitech software for the Mouse :

And for the keyboard :

Great quality too, I just love the keyboard too much :D

hey is there any app for MK320 like above which tells how much battery life is left.....

I think the issues are only with the wireless combo's coz its very cheap when compared to separate wireless KB & Mice prices...

Not sure whether SetPoint would work or not, but here's a link you can download and check from:
SetPoint

I have the Microsoft wireless desktop 700 combo. The KB runs on 2 AAA batteries and am still using the same pair that came in the box when I bought it about a year and half ago. The mouse uses 2 pencil cells and they rarely last over a month.I guess you get what you pay for. I picked up the set for 1300 bucks. A friend picked up just a wireless mouse for laptops by Logitech and he paid 1200 for that. He doesnt have to change a battery more than 2-3 times a year. I think it depends upon technology used . . . i.e. infra red or bluetooth or RF etc. Am not sure which one is the most efficient though.

I had a horrible experience with a Microsoft Wireless keyboard/mouse combo (but that was 2 years ago)

mk320 does not have set point support..so we cant know how much battery is left.....this..suks!
