dont you have a spike/noise protector before putting their cable goes in you lan card ?

As I said it was quite old story and back then Cable internet was just starting... they had connected the ethernet to a hub from which it went to my LAN ! Apparently a power line broke and fell on beam CPE box (they had it on electric pole) and so all the PCs conencted to the box got fried.

hey i don't think its a good idea to put screenshort of beam FB page over here. and this topic is not going in constructive direction. We all know how terrible bean after-sales service is, but on the flip side it are geting teh speed which in not avilable in any other ISP in india. we we gain some we loose some. lets cut this topic here :)
