I am sorry to dissappoint most you guys... But I've been a satisfied beam user.
It's been 2 1/2 months since i took Beam connection and have had only ONE CASE OF CONNECTION DOWN. I've two VPN services (my office and my bro's office) connected with no issue..
And regarding the FUP I've been lucky enough (like bobby) to be getting Full speed 10mbps even after FUP. This has been the case for the last two months. Infact, when I took beam connection on 22nd of May, I was expecting a pro-rate FUP (10days should be 10gb) but I got full 30GB. And the next month Jun and July I have got FUP OF 60GB.
My download have been 50gb for May (10 days), 400gb for June and 70gb till date for July (count uploads
double)....which would have taken me a year in any plan any ISP with similar cost.. (1000 bucks).
Can't really complain about anything.
I knew what I was getting into (abt the service) when I was taking beam.. so I'm well-prepared for any issues and effects of the customer service... Like I made a request for Plan upgradtion about 10days ago I've got any response yet, all I did get was couple of messages when claming that are working on the ticket. Evenetually the ticket got closed. I called up and asked them to reopen ticket but got a new one instead...
Frankly this has been the Best service that Beam has offered (ever) with respect to customer service.. If you talk to older beam customers you'll realise that it has been far worse...
So please stop RANTING about beam.. and be little more patient.. No other ISP in India is providing you anything close to this.. so lets be little more patient with them...

bTW i can vouch for my area alone..dunno abt other areas!
