Called 66272727 today and complained that even after near;y 4 weeks of booking, there was no connection. To my complete surprise the person told me that it was not possible to install since there was no permission. Apparently they have been sitting on their behinds since they came to know about this. The technician on the other hand kept telling me that he would come the next day, the same day, in 2 hours etc. They have done nothing but waste my time. What can be done about this? Sitting in their office is not an option as I am working.

Just get BSNL man! They also said the same thing when we shifted our house and they had to get a couple of permissions before they finally showed up after 3 weeks ಠ_ಠBSNL has better plans for hyderabad. Since you're working..better go for BSNL. And and if you want high speeds, give them a call after 1-2 months.

I just quit BSNL for Beam....even though they have better plans for Hyderabad I thought Beam was better. Besides, those BSNL plans are on a trial basis for 3 months. Nobody knows whats going to happen after that.

Well Beam is working well for me. Today ..had 10 mins downtime but within 20 mins ofr calling cuwstomer care, my nets up. But as i said, if people don't give permission to beam to install boxes, nothing can be done. i have number of a guy pretty high up in beam's management. Maybe you can call that guy and tell him your prob.

Based on the reviews / experiences (mostly here) I trusted they will be good, so I went ahead. I was moving and the guy was ready to come the next day, so I thought it would be a done deal. Anyway, PM me the higher up's phone number with some instructions. (time to call, where I got the number from etc.)Thanks.
