Yup but any which ways both are useless.

Worth giving a try to this

In case 24 hours have elapsed since you lodged your complaint, but the problem has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please type and SMS to 995910010

For how much time did you sit in their office? -_- They should have changed the first time i complained. Still not resolved. but i don't really need back up.

I sat in the office for an hour.

If you are reporting same problem many times in few weeks, you can ask CC to escalate. This worked for me when I faced this same issue. After escalating battery was changed.

Even if you escalate, they might temporarily give a new battery or update to a bigger battery. After you forget about this they will quietly remove the battery and argue with you that they always provided only 1 hour backup and you where wrong to expect more from them ...exactly what they informed me. It is a typical private company so they will cut corners....I am already leaving beam for BSNL.

Not providing this battery back-up can be real annoying especially in the times of 4hr powercuts. The battery backups are supposed to be for 4 hours apparently.

I forgot that power cuts in other areas affect the network, unlike BSNL. Is this a major problem?

Actually if battery is installed, then it should provide backup for 4 hrs. But battery is not installed at the box near my home and as a result net dies the moment theres power cut. Don't use inverter so no prob for me but yeah ..people with inverters would defintely have prob. Seems like this problem is random, maybe it depends on technician in area concerned ..my friend who lives just 2~3 kms from has back up whereas i don't :|

Its OK as long as the power cut is in my area. But if I have to bear without internet because of power cuts in other areas, that would be very infuriating.
