The point is that the FUPs don't really matter that much. Even after the limit is hit the speed is enough for 720p torrents to stream fine. So its not that big a deal. Plus, almost every month there is a mid-month reset (sometimes even twice). So, no complaints from here.

I don't live in a society-ish area, it is a sarai, does that mean i am never going to get Fiber in my area (in case if they come to Delhi in future)?

Being a person who has used broadband services from most of the existing service providers, I can say I'm more than happy with Beam's plans and services. When you compare plans, service levels, billing, post FUP speeds, they are one of the better providers out there. Data limits come down to personal usage patterns and will determine the plan you choose. Personally I'm very happy with my current plan. The data limit fits into my usage pattern and FUP kicks in only in the last few days of the month. Compared to other providers, Beam has the highest post FUP speeds.

My previous plan was 20Mbps upto 40GB. They upgraded it to 25Mbps upto 70GB. The post FUP speed remains same at 4Mbps. I pay 1660 for this connection.
Awesome in my opinion. Apparently they got rid of this plan now and it only continues for the existing customers.

Did I mention that Beam only counts downloads towards your data limit. The other day I uploaded 10GB of files to my cloud drive with no change to my data usage counter.

We are blessed staying in Hyderabad :)
Will check for an update with Beam if now they are available in my locality. They are available in the next lane I stay :(
