actually, trivandrum is one of the worst state capitals in india...so cant really blame anyone for not starting their company there...even many of friends frm tvm share this view!!!

I too agree. Trivandrum is just a capital city for name sake :(
 
best fm officialy launched yesterday(23 dec 2007) good programs and quality their program is interactive phone in programs just like music channel thats the main diffrence between radio mango and club fmbut quality and presentation style no 1 is radio mango and s fm 93.5 starts its test transmission from thrissur

yes i get the test transmission of s fm 93.5 from thrissur (thats the fourth and final fm station alloted in thrissur) continuos songs no presention or jockyies in betwwen songs may be with in few days it will starts its operation no idea abt s fm lauch (no adv in newspaper or their on tv channels (no adv to their calicut / kozhikode lauch)

other alloted and startred fm stations in thrissur are (total 4 alloted)

1 radio mango 91.9 --- good sound quality and presention not an intractive channel (live ph in programs)
2 club fm 94.3 not good as expection this also not an intractive channel and s fm 93.5 starts its test transmission from thrissur
3 best fm 95.0 good presention allmost all the programs are intreactve
4 s fm 93.5 its not lauched but starts its testing

all the channels are very low power singnels very difficult to get inside the home around 25 km(road) or around 15 / 18 km (air) according to their information (fm stations) it will be available inside 50 kms from the broadcasting tower

now iam looking for some antennas that help me to get these 4 channels inside my home
 
Jishnu, thanks again for the update.You can try for used Car Antennas, which you can easily get from any car workshops, or for the new one it will cost around Rs.110. Fix it in some tree or buliding terrace. I suggest coconut tree (not joke), try you will get all 4 FM stations easily. I wish to come to Kerala now..to enjoy all these....bye...
 
They claim to transmit at a radius of 50kms, yet these stations are not available on the radios. Why do they do that?
 
This is happening everywhere. I think good transmission depends on the nature of the land. Means, things like hills and trees etc can block the waves. Even here in Dubai FM radio's which claim 100 KM's are not reaching more than 80 KM's in some areas.
