Hello there. Just as the title says, I want a good broadband provider in my society. The one I have right now is a local one. The budget I can spend on a plan is maximum of 900 Rs a month. Currently I am getting a 5 mbps unlimited and the service is good, the local guy usually knows when there's a problem and usually solves it in under an hour at most.
The problem with it is, though I get the speed, under outside servers the ping is usually too high, and speed too slow. Indian servers work normal, but for any other it's a pain to work with.
I'm looking for the availability and reviews of broadband providers available in this area. Particularly near Balaji CGHS. I have nextra in my society but the online reviews at various sites has me sceptical so I'm looking for real reviews here for any other player in the area.
I have heard about Excitel, and the prices are lucrative. There is a Excitel hub( or point of connect) shown in the google maps they have just 100 metres from my society. If anyone has it installed, please give a review of it.
Finally, it should be said that I was a user of MTNL and their 512kbps plan 1.5 yrs ago and even though MTNL has an exchange right in my society their connectivity sucks. Sometimes used to disconnect for a week. So no MTNL for me.
