This is one of the idiotic thing ever introduced by this company, as a subscriber i pay the monthly rent in advance, so there is no chance of bill being raised and a late payment fee being charged as a grace period amount. This is a prepaid system. Its the incompetence of dishtv that they are trying push onto there subscriber base, in case of
Tata Sky as soon as the balance of the sunscriber is reduced to negative , the beaming is stopped but with dish
tv they dont have the technology to stop the beaming immediately, there system will gradually degrade the subscriber to a lower plan but will not be able to a stop the beaming . The customer is reduced to a lower plan without the customers consent.....why would a customer pay a grace period charge when he has to view a lower package, no matter the moment he recharges he will be charged from the start of the grace period. ... DISH TV is still moving at a bullock cart speed even in this Jet Age.I have both dishtv & tatasky.....
Tata sky on the other hand has a bullet proof system , in which customer is being treated like a guest of honour, has a amazing software in which i get what i want , and every penny spent is worth it.in tata sky I was on super saver package paying Rs 260 pm, i cald customer care to add
Lifestyle gold, u ll not belive it was on in real time ( same moment).... where as in dish tv it takes ages to upgrade a package.In tata sky as soon as i recharge i get a conformatory message immediately on my cell phone where as in dish it takes 36-48 hours for message on tv / cell.DISHTV should remove this system and spend some money and time thinking over improving its services / software & NOT finding ways to linger on this poor & old software as new DTH operators are coming into market and would be offering world class services as TATA SKY is offering. OVERALL : This charge is acting like an another feather in the cap of the disgraced system of DISH TV.
