here is a scammy offer by bigbasket... they give you a first free ride on uber if you buy stuff worth rs. 1000.

the problem is that the offer is available for free. you can use anyone's referral code to get the first free ride.

so basically they are charging for an offer that is otherwise available for free. in fact, they are probably getting referral credit in their own account if you ride using their code! so you are basically paying them twice!

well, it is a joint deal. uber themselves offer shitty coupons for free first rides. every single offer these days is free first ride. from the looks of it, they would partner with anyone just to get a promotion running lol.

Chennai seems to not that big a market yet ... I could see all slots available all the time - except perhaps the closest ones.

So... If you add 1000 bucks to the BigBasket wallet, you get one free delivery. So if you are indeed order something costing Rs. 1000+, better is to add the money to the wallet first and get that token free delivery!
