I think the ideal launch date is great i.e., Independece Day - From Cable Operators:yahoo::thumbsup:

yes Ajuravi, you are 100% correct. Cable TV operators are the very worst monster in the word. They dont give the good signal, but the collect the Money on time. If any thing goes wrong, we go to cable wala and beg them the correct the fault.

One good thing about DTH is that picture quality of all the channels are good...........unless like cable where in they give good picture quality to only 30 -40 channels out of 100 channels:wall:

only advantage in Dth is no downtime, even if power goes, if u have invertor or generator u can continue watching the match or serial

can u believe it i recieve only 20 channels(which are clear) out of 100 from cable walai cannot view ther rest of channels(horrible picture quality, snow on all channels)i ll switch to bigtv as soon as it launches

Boss its nothing new that only very few channel's pciture quality is good in cable and 80% of the channels does have snow fall. DTH is a superior technology that cable.......and thats the reason we are getting good picture quality..........

I do have digital cable.......... as i am under CAS and i have STB for cable too but these things are applicable only in fewer cities what about the rest of the cable customers?

Actually cable has much more bandwidth in comparison to the current DTH providers that we have here. Its just the lousy implementation that results in bad quality.
