Bitwarden

Trying Bitwarden as an experiment. And coming from 1Password, by god the experience is subpar. It doesn't replace the browser's password manager. Had to disable it manually. Doesn't support social logins. 1Password basically saves your choice if you are signing up with Google, GitHub and automatically logs you in. Bitwarden doesn't want to support that. Infact, everyone on Bitwarden forum is like, create a proper account.

Will try a bit more. This is not going to be fun.

Another Bitwarden nuisance. Even if the master password is correct but if Bitwarden isn't in the mood, it won't log you in. Device login doesn't work. And with just 1 attempt, I have hit the rate limit and there is no documentation on how long this rate limit applies for. So you are stuck using the mobile app provided its still working but getting the password from the mobile app to your desktop is not fun.

Who wrote this shit?

@Navjot Singh I have never experienced the issue of not being able to login with correct master password. 🤔

And about rate limiting... Some days ago, bots were trying to log into my account and it locked me out for like 5 minutes. Also, just one wrong attempt isn't enough to put rate limit on your account. I am not sure why you faced that.

Bitwarden has adjusted its pricing: Premium is now $1.65 per month or $19.80 billed annually (previously $1/month or $10/year), while Families is $3.99 per month or $47.88 billed annually (previously $40 per year). All current subscribers will be notified 15 days ahead of their renewal when the price changes will take effect.

All existing Premium and a few early Families 2019 customers will receive a one-time 25% loyalty discount for their first year of renewal.
