In my previous ISP experience, I paid a significant amount for wiring when I first set up the connection. Later, I moved from the 10th floor to the 5th floor in the same building, same wing, and they insisted I pay for the wiring again. When I asked about the money I'd already paid, they said the existing wire would simply be given to the next tenant on the 10th floor, so essentially, I was paying for someone else's wiring.
This infuriated me because it felt like I was being extorted. They wouldn’t provide wiring on the 5th floor unless I paid an additional ₹2,600. Moreover, they refused to transfer my account from the 10th floor to the 5th floor, despite the fact that I had recharged just five days before moving. They told me I’d have to reopen the account and pay the monthly fees again, which felt like a complete rip-off.
This experience pushed me to choose Airtel AirFiber. At least with AirFiber, I know that moving the connection is simpler and more straightforward, and the current FUP should be sufficient. I also expect Airtel to roll out a data booster plan, which adds to the convenience
