If "R" series existed, then it could be different from "Q" series. Threads for both devices should have been kept separate
This phone is Q5. May be we could see some phone with "R" series as well which could be cheaper then Q/Z series.

Well Z10/Q10 was thought to be coming at 30+ (30-35 max). Came at 40+ . Just going by that trend, wont be surprised at a 25+ kind of price

Guess, I was right... Even accounting for Europe prices being more.. looks like 25-ish looks likely.

Canadian phone maker BlackBerry today launched the Q5 smartphone in India, bringing its latest handset in the country. This smartphone is aimed at emerging markets and has been priced at Rs 24,990. It is the third BB10-powered phone to be launched in India, after the exorbitantly priced Z10 and Q10 smartphones.

Is it the only decent smartphone available in the market with a hardware keyboard? A cousin needs a smartphone but he wants a keypad/keyboard on the device. He is planning to buy this one. I am not quite sure.
