Bluetooth Dongle for bluetooth headphones

So, I bought my brother a pair of headphones that only connect with Bluetooth. Unfortunately. on his work laptop Bluetooth is blocked by his organization. Even though hardware is present, yet any Bluetooth device cannot be paired.

Is there a device that can be connected over USB to the laptop and then connect to headphones over Bluetooth?

It's possible windows would block bluetooth through external hardware as well because of group policy.

I am using tp-link model. Works well.

You're looking for "Bluetooth audio transmitter w/ auxiliary", assuming aux isn't blocked too.

Windows definitely blocks this as well. Just saw a video on LTT where in LG free tone headphones can connect wirelessly to the case and case connects to any device through usb cable. So i was thinking of similar solution.

I recently bought a TP-Link bluetooth dongle (UB500) ver 5 which I found to be excellent as compared to an older one I was using before.

yeah. i have the same. the product linked above that seems to broadcast aux input on bluetooth should logically work for his case. definitely worth trying.
