Both phone and broadband not working.

hi all,I'm posting this thread on behalf on my friend who resides in Kerala and has a BSNL dataone broadband connection there..her broadband is not working from evening..the adsl link keeps on flickering and she can't establish a connection.But the starnge part is that she is not able to make any calls from her landline too..its giving a message that "your connection is temoperirly unavailable, contact accounts manager"..she has paid her bill in time ..guys, what could be the possible problem?? and yes! is diwali double usage available for kerala dataone users?? she is on 250 plan.thanks,
 
Likely some payment has not been made to BSNL so they have de-activated services. Happened to me once, then I had to contact some revenue officer who explained the charges. Service gets restored within 24 hours usually.Tell her to go to local exchange or nearest BSNL customer service centre with latest paid bill and sort the matter.
 
happened to me too.. my bills are paid automatically through ECS.. and they said i didnt pay.. then finally it was sorted out..
 
I year back I was using my Uncle's BSNL BB connection was on Home 900 UL plan.He didn't pay the telephone bill on time the phone was not working saying "Contact accounts manager" but to my surprise BB was working fine.
