Breaking news: Bsnl 3g speed back

HI IAM TOO HAPPY TO POST THIS THREAD THAT MY BSNL 3G UNLIMITED PLAN(4200) which was previously capped to1 mbps now is 3.6 mbps>>OF COURSE NOT 7.2 AS IT WAS INITIALLY.. BUT HAPPY AS MY TORRENTS NOW AT 450 KBBPS AND VIDEO DOWNLOADS AT 750 KBPS. INITIALLY MY DOWNLOAD SPEED WAS 1 to 1.2 mbps for videos.on capping i got only 120 kbps.. now 750 kbps..i live at namakkal, near salem. tamilnadu.. HOPE ALL HAVE GOT BACK THE 3G POWER NOW.I .JUST HAVE LESS THAN 60 DAYS VALIDITY REMAINING FOR THE PLAN....WISH BSNL GIVES ME AGAIN 4200 RECHARGE OFFER..
 
Im frm Sivakasi (TN circle). But i didnt hget back the previous speed. Its still 1 Mbps.
 
The speed is back....The Bsnl guys are resetting stuff to as it was originally..If ur area(City)was inspected by Huawei inspection team, then ur bound to get ur original speeds within a week....
 
Speed has to improve, because the users with Unlimited Plans will be expiring one by one... my Unlimited plan expires soon
 
well guys for me it worked fine . From the 1st day i got very good speed of 4 mbps till this date . So i dont have any complain
 
@kavin & @hawkieyeIm too from TN circle but still getting 1 Mbps speed only. When contacted the officials of BSNL, they hav no idea but they said tht they are ready to help if they get some extra info. I tried to get the phone numbers of u both thru Private Message but unfortunately you both didnt activate the option of private messaging. Can u pls activate tht so tht i can give my number or else kindly give ur numbers thru private messging, so tht i can call and clarify. Expecting ur replies.
 
It is next to impossible to get proper information or at least something useful from the BSNL customer-care or from their office staff.

For reduced speed they told me to check if i have good signal..!!!
I always have nearly full tower..
They never knew about the 1 Mbps data capping.My guess is they dont know what data capping means..

Then i decided to go for written complaints...

Till date i had sent some 6 letters to the G.M BSNL...

I had written all about the original speed i used to get & reduction in speed after the so called Maintenance..

I arranged an in-house visit from the Huawei inspection team, whose number i got from an engineer at BSNL office.
I had to show them the reduced speed etc for them to believe, that there was a speed cap.

They told that Speed capping is only possible from BSNL head office Coimbatore, and they had no idea to rectify the issue on their side..
I then contacted BSNL office, and a junior officer told me to talk to customer care, tell my mobile number and check if any speed capping was added to my 3g mobile number..


I got frustrated when trying out that idea .... The guys/girls at the other end of the line dont even know the basic facts on speed/connectivity/issues faced by 3g customers...

U guys wouldn't believe how adamant they were, and tried to blame the customer when and where possible.


After 3 attempts, i got connected to a dude , who kind of understood the issue, and took a complaint.

Within 2 days i got my original speed...
 
Buddy, but i dont think tht previous speed is back as a action for ur complaint. Coz they couldn't change speed of a single user when the software is set as 1 Mbps for all unlimited plan users. Hope its purely a coincidence. Might be they are giving back the original speeds in some areas. What abt other unlimited users' speed in ur area?
