Buddy, but i dont think tht previous speed is back as a action for ur complaint. Coz they couldn't change speed of a single user when the software is set as 1 Mbps for all unlimited plan users. Hope its purely a coincidence. Might be they are giving back the original speeds in some areas. What abt other unlimited users' speed in ur area?
It is next to impossible to get proper information or at least something useful from the BSNL customer-care or from their office staff.
For reduced speed they told me to check if i have good signal..!!!
I always have nearly full tower..
They never knew about the 1 Mbps data capping.My guess is they dont know what data capping means..
Then i decided to go for written complaints...
Till date i had sent some 6 letters to the G.M BSNL...
I had written all about the original speed i used to get & reduction in speed after the so called Maintenance..
I arranged an in-house visit from the
Huawei inspection team, whose number i got from an engineer at BSNL office.
I had to show them the reduced speed etc for them to believe, that there was a speed cap.
They told that Speed capping is only possible from BSNL head office Coimbatore, and they had no idea to rectify the issue on their side..
I then contacted BSNL office, and a junior officer told me to talk to customer care, tell my mobile number and check if any speed capping was added to my 3g mobile number..
I got frustrated when trying out that idea .... The guys/girls at the other end of the line dont even know the basic facts on speed/connectivity/issues faced by 3g customers...
U guys wouldn't believe how adamant they were, and tried to blame the customer when and where possible.
After 3 attempts, i got connected to a dude , who kind of understood the issue, and took a complaint.
Within 2 days i got my original speed...
