Breaking News: Colors HD on d2h from 19th October

Well its still unclear why Viacom 18 is not promoting Colors HD channel but one of my friend who works in Balaji Telefilm had confirmed abt this. Also the retailer who had confirmed regarding Mix, Maa Music and Maa Movies confirmed its addition on d2h on the launching date itself which is 19th.

Dont know whats the thing here then. But, does Balaji have any serial running on Colors as well? Theres no sort of promotion, neither on TV, nor on the Internet. Its hard to believe ryt now. Atleast they cud have started a page on FB! Or mentioned that thing on their current page.

Parichay is of Balaji and my friend is in Marketing . So they are in contact with all channels. And If I am not wrong even Star Plus never talked abt its HD version before launch.

But atleast screenshots of its testing were doing rounds on the internet. I remember Jignesh posting a few pics of all four Asli HD channels, even before its launch.

Colors is such a high profile channel,i doubt they will launch their HD version with such a wimp,where even a dud channel like UTV stars was aggressively promoting it through various social forums 1 month prior to launch.Even if it is added on D2h,it makes no sense to discard Active music HD, coz they have ample TP capacity and don't have any other music channel in HD.it seems they want to be content with "12 Asli Hd" channels only.

Yup. So far only Tata Sky has very vocal and forthcoming about TP crunch. whereas other Dth operators are keeping mum on the issue.what happened to d2h supposed migration to ST2 and subsequent increase in capacity?

Actually, Lyngsat already shows that D2h is on ST2. And on the other hand, they are doing this. So its not quite clear as to whats going on with them.

If this is so, Its in testing since August on Intelsat 10 at 68.5 E . Usually I don't consider lyngsat, but check this out.

Its merely 2 days remaining dosto. I am sure that mine sources are not wrong. Neither they were before nor they will be in future too.

So, lets wait . If its really gonna be true, then we would be enjoying Colors HD, if not then also some other HD channel would be added and we would be benefited in both the cases

Lyngsat is partially updated. As confirmed with the Service Engineer , Testing of TPs in ST2 is still on and would be completed by year end. So, untill ST2 testing gets complete, I don't think we gonna see another HD channel on d2h.

Now this has to be believed that Colors HD is launching. It now remains to be seen if surely its coming to D2h or not. After they dont want to change their campaigning of "12 Asli HD channels"! But 1 thing is sure - their TP space is under serious doubts now.
