What a player! Even now he was bowling with pace, looked fit and was effective. Our best young bowlers are still no match to his athleticism (let's not get into the bowling part). One fine day he decides he doesn't want to play, and goes ahead. I can't think of any Indian player apart from Gavaskar (Sunil not his son) and to an extent Dravid retiring this way.

aww man! why are cricketers suddenly retiring one by one in such short span of time?Love Brett lee .. Even when we went to watch him play live ..he always waves to people in the stadium ..not like many cricketers who simply ignore the people.
