Bridge mode with Static IP: OPNsense

I am not sure, since after resetting, the TR-069 could reconfigure the Static IP profile, but it should not hurt to try it out nonetheless.

@Soumil turns out you were right with my ONT and router fighting for the IP address. Turns out the Static IP profile was the issue after all!

I tried MAC cloning, and finally putting all ports in bridge mode. I was still facing the issue of the internet working for a bit and then dying.

So I finally reset the ONT, and then called Airtel and explained to them that I need help setting up bridge mode. They raised a ticket, and a technician got in touch. He took about 2 hours and said it should work now.

OPNsense works as expected now. I set Port 1 to bridge, and the static IP details (IP address, mask, gateway, etc) on OPNsense with VLAN100 tagging, that's about it.

Airtel Fiber seems to be having some massive backend issue with ASYMMETRIC Routing and pool routings. I am unable to stream high bit rate videos etc on Airtel Fiber Static IP on PfSense.

Hi, I'm on same setup myself and confused as to how to vlan tag, what should be the CIDR. Here is what I have done till now

1. Changed root passwords
2. Went to system>config>wizard then entered DNS servers I was given. DNS(unbound) has resolver enabled.
3. In the same wizard entered wan networktype as static, mac as my router mac (I don't think its needed but I'll still do ig),
IP/21(xxx.xxx.131.xxx/21) and gateway(xxx.xxx.133.1), under default policies, block rfc1918 private networks and block bogon networks enabled by default
4. On next page(LAN), all default, configure DHCP server enabled.
5. Saved and applied

6. Interfaces>devices>vlan added a vlan with parent as the wan interface, vlan tag as 100 and priority as 0 out of 0-7(not sure what to put so set as default)

7. Setup DHCP by disabling isc and using dnsmasq.

What else do I need to do?
