Broadband billing problem

We pay advance of 2 months while taking a new bb connection. ryt?I also paid it.But when I got the bill there was bb bill in it also. (mine is a new connection)And now they are saying that the 2 months advance bill they took was security money. what to do?? are they telling the truth?:wall:

You need not pay 2 months advance. Only one month's rent is paid as advance. Apart from that modem charges Rs. 1000 + tax if modem is purchased instead of rent. Talk to the accounts section.

Well, they told me that I need to pay 2months advance so i paid while taking the connection.THey took Rs.2700 fro me. 1200 for modem + around 1500 as 2 months advance) I have 750HUL.

Check with accounts section. Call customer care and ask for the Accounts Section no.

BSNL Broadband - Initial and other Charges
Installation charges Rs 250(If modem taken from BSNL)
Security Deposit of Modem (refundable) Rs 500 (if applicable)
Advance Monthly Rental for Modem According to type of Modem (As applicable)

Security Deposit for BB
One month charges as per Plan but maximum to Rs 5000/- (or as applicable)
Advance Monthly Rental for BB As per billing cycle (one Month /two months)

Thanks for the update. When I switched, I had to pay 1 month's rent.
