Broadband does not work

I am having BSNL 250 plan and recently shifted my residence. In my new locality, the phone line got connected and BB was not working. When I checked with exchange people, they told that, the username and password is going to be the same and my line was already activated. But still my BB is not working even after giving the same user name and password. The exchange guys repeat the same thing that, the username and password is same, since it is just relocation and it will work without any issues. I thought of posting the query here before going to CC. Please let me know, if you have any suggestions in this regard.
 
/members/nandhusaravanan/Confirm the telephone number has not been changed.If number is changed, you have to ask the Exchange to activate your BB account.
 
My Telephone no. is changed and even the exchage guys told they activated BB for this new telephone no. The lights for DSL, USB are glowing... Internet light just blinks for some seconds and goes off.
 
does it blink initially and then goes off.. or it keeps blinking and stays ON for sometime and then goes off again??
 
/members/nandhusaravanan/Which is the modem model ? How do you connect dialer or "AlwaysON " ?
 
My modem page 102.168.1.1 clearly says Authentication failure for my login.. Looks like during transfer the exchange people might have created the new password or my login might have been deactivated... I am trying with exchange today once again for the password...
 
members/nandhusaravanan/You can verify your old password is valid by checking your acct in Usage Portal.There Change user Id password. enter old password. and re enter same twice.and test.Or if you have webmail acct check mail there.Ask CC to activate your connection and check.
