Hi GuysI am coming to india from Melbourne next year and want to know if i can use my existing modem for accessing internet over 3G.I already have Huawei E220, E160, E160G and E169 (all came in different contracts and are spare).Just want to know if i can use them while in india. I do believe Reliance uses similar modems from Huawei.Thanks

Hi Friend,If you are about to use a 3G data connection for your internet need, its well and good but with the prevailing conditions the cost of the connection is higher.Only the state owned cos are giving the 3g broadband service which costs around Rs. 3000/- So even then you need a 3g connection then you can get one. There wont be a fully unlimited plan... as u can see there are FUP (fair Usage Policy) being adopted in these plans. I suggest you to try out a wire-line DSL connection.The above are my personal suggestion. ShreeRaman
