broadband issue

Hello guys i am using bsnl broadband and using 8mbps plan so my normal snr is 150-200 but since last few days whenever light(power) comes on my snr is getting down like half 50-90 and getting lots of error in modem stats plus speed drops a lot and sometimes DSL blinks too
can you guide me what is the issue.

sorry it is basically (0.1dB) so proper value is 17-20db & pls let me know if you have any solution

Could be the earthing. I guess there's a PC connected to modem via ethernet cable and your PC may not have proper earthing. Just a guess.

i am using wifi connectivity.maybe earthing from pole possible?

Are other applications working fine? This problem can be due to inverter

Yes everything is just working fine..dsl having odd when light comes on.

use line tester(used by electricians) and check polarity of outlets.Its light should glow only on Phase point and polarity should not reverse on inverter

Sorry man not getting u...what is line tester and can u explain why inverter is involv?

The best is to get an electrician check it. Tell him to check the polarity.

You can also tell him to check the earthing.
