also needs to add here. broadband services do not publish prices including taxes. so their price charts would remain same. 
this alone would ensure that most people would not notice anything. people with existing connections would get smaller bills which is of course welcome. but this is again a stupid move.
government loses their share. private companies continue to rob the customers. government find other ways to tax the consumers. the common man loses in any situation.
indian government needs to do what europe does. push retailers to publish the final price on products and services.
