Broadband Surprises with Airtel (Free upgrades for everyone)

I was an airtel customer for 10 years and they disconnected my home connection out of the blue because of some metro line construction related issues. I had to move to BSNL at home and had to be without net for 20 days which was like hell. I still have airtel at my workplace though but they are not so loyal to their loyal customers.
 
Yep... They just gave me 50GB to my connection(which I disconnected a week back). Looks like this DB has old data :)

I moved my location and they are waiting for more signups from the teh apartment so that they can be sure of their break even in capex immediately.
I am an 10+ years customer paying Rs2500 pm

So they asked me to wait for 3/4 months though buildings next to us has Airtel.

It's all about 'profits' . Nothing called free beer!
 
Airtel gave me 1 GB of top up data. I called CC and told them i want speed upgrade. They said they can't do that, i am eligible for only 1 GB Data top up. CC asked me if i want to activate my 1 GB top up. I told them that i don't want 1 GB top up so don't activate it.

I am on Rapid 2499 package which by default provides 200gb. It showed me that I have unlocked 50gb, however my account still shows 200gb :\
 
If you call CC, they will activate it.

CC also said their are offers of cash back also on your current plan. Though its not shown on surprise website.

But i don't want surprise of 1 GB Top up. I want speed upgrade.
