Hello Folks,I applied for MNP from Aircel to BSNL 3g.26/01/11- Inquired at the CSC for the plan.. Got the following info about the benefits - Have to pay Rs. 59 100 rs talktime plus additional freebies with the FRC 5 GB Data usage ( yes, the executive confirmed it on 3g Network) 27/01/11 - Went to the CSC with the porting code. Filled the form alongwith the form for Prepaid Sim. Attached the ID and photo. Paid Rs. 59. Submitted the form and got the 3g Sim.01/02/11 - At 22:30, Aircel number got deactivated. Waited for like 2-3 hours but BSNL number didn't get activated.02/02/11 - Went to the CSC, told the executive. He said there had been some problem, it will be done in 2-3 hours. At 22:00 hrs. BSNL number got activated.03/02/11 - Today I went to the nearest retailer to get an FRC for the new number of Rs. 56 for 3g. Tried for like several times. Was getting errors every time. Tried it with other denominations. Not successful. Went to the CSC to meet the guy ( Ansari, who's the only knowledgable person, as I reckon). He wasn't there. The other person searched on his system and got that my number has been created on a 2G profile...I was like wtf !!Are they so unprofessional. When I have a 3g Sim, how can they do it. And there was this guy who is giving me the crap, that I should get an FRC for a 2g and then recharge it with Re. 1. It will be switched to 3g.Now my concerns are -1) If this had to be the case why did they charge me Rs. 59 for a 3g Sim. I could have got a 2g sim for free within MNP and later on could have converted it into 3g. 2) Now what should I do as I'm not sure, If I go for a 2g FRC, then if I migrate it to 3g. I'll get the free benefits...Even they are not sure ( they say that I'll get but ain't too confident )Please give me the best suggestion..Regards,Akash

Not a new problem (very common our country, specially when its a Govt agency). If you have ample amount of time, you can fight for it and get the problem solved. But if you are a busy person, then I would suggest to FRC for 2G and Rs.1 recharge and get it resolved

Guys, I stay in Moradabad, UP(W)Please tell me the concerned person or the procedure to make a formal complaint.
