Well MDMA will work only with Huawei cards and will not work with any other providers.

OOPS! then I cannot use this with the Datacard that BSNL gives (Teracom)

You can try for MDMA like this after connecting to the internet, in Windows Task manager, end process of your application SW of BSNL data card (in processes tab, without closing in application tab). And not disconnect or close the application SW you are using. Then double click the MDMA application file (100K).

@Dushie

Thanks for confirming 7.2Mbps towers. Only after a month's time, I am planning to add some antennas.

If we end the BSNL modem software in the processes tab then automatically the BSNL software also closes rt...I tried but it's not workin

Ok, thanks for posting MDMA,
if i am not wrong, I can see its possible for one to check what is the max allowed speed on your operator tower, of-course this depends on what they are offering, and has the license for.
The actual speed you get may be set by operator or it may be due to restriction of speed as per their active License in the said area.

Watch the two screenshots below, the Negotiated Qos shows the speed which the connected network is capable of.
Airtel Shows 240 kbps
while BSNL shows 8640 kbps
if this is correct BSNL tower I am currently is capable of 8.4mbps, but it may not be authorized for this much speed delivery.

While i got 24kbps on downloads on airtel,
BSNL was only getting 98kbps, as said earlier, BSNL 3G is pathetic in my area, luckily i know
a very senior officer for this and shall talk to him this weekend.

However i still say I may be wrong with this assumption, but more people test this can give more results for comparison.

Thanks for the feed back.

I have also tried with Sierra AC 306 data card. Here the application runs after process end but MDMA is unable to connect with the modem. So what Dushie has said, is correct.

@ghpk

Here is the screenshot of MDMA for my 3.6Mbps BSNL Tower.

Here it is " assigned profile " speed of 3.6Mbps enabled tower and not " Negotiated Qos ". And I am able to get full 3.5Mbps speed.

You are lucky enough to get 7.2Mbps enabled tower. Your actual low 3G speed may be due to other factors driving the connectivity and signal strength.

"negotiated QOS" and "assigned profile" are the same but have different names in different versions of MDMA.

I tried 2 different versions of mdma and found that "negotiated QOS" is present in 1 version while in the other version it's "assigned profile".

Correct me if wrong..

John, Qos name seems to be introduced in MDMA at later versions.I don't know why i get poor speeds, signal strength is never under 95% as tower is near by.Secondly notice the RTA: its HSD+UPA in Ramli's screenshot, while its HSDPA at my end.

Oh oh i'm getting full signal but my download speed doesn't cross 200kBps..sometimes it goes till 270kBps at late night..:madness:

earlier it used to be 495-500kBps but it has reduced from the last week..:wall:

with BSNL selling Rs.4200/6 month unlimited plan may be the prime cause for the speed drops.3G speeds vary a lot when you have lot of users connected to one tower.another thing i recall, but may be old, was told by a friend who was in network management for a mobile operator who told me During winters the signal lossis at max and he had to run all night long to fix those issues.
