BSNL 3G automatically Disconnecting after downloading 2 gb (4200 UL Plan, Modem Linktop LW273 7.2 Mbps)Any Solution is there? pls help.

:) It disconnects even before for me. In fact it randomly disconnects. Once reconnects, it continues further... Although it connects again, but It causes frustration when you are in middle important audio chatDo you have any 2GB limit? What plan you have taken? mine is unlimited plan (paid Rs.4200 for 6 months)

Others - I am using the BSNL Data Modem (Teracom 7.2mbps). do you also face this? Is this a known problem with Teracom?I notice many users in this forum have purchased USB Modem from external agency. Does that work well? Do you see any disconnections?

I brought modem from out side Haewei E1762, it also disconnects after some time some times 30mins some times after 2 hours some time after 3hours.

I think its a part of error from Network.

Thanks Athul for your response. Does anyone knows if the same disconnection happens on 3G Services other than BSNL?

Ya, from what I read about 3G in forums, disconnection is the major issue customers are facing. Somebody was suggesting an automatic reconnection software " Re connect ". I think you can find it at cnet.

You can set the redial option whenever it disconnects...I think with 3G connections, come diconnection problems too..
I think it has to do with no of ppl in the network accessing...If more ppl are downloading then it might lead to disconnection to some other users..Also it might be their strategy to auto disconnect after specific data download limits ,so that they limit the UL downloads..

I dont find this a problem at all as I have set the redial option.I download normally 11Gb from 12 to 8 in the early mornings at speeds of 400KBps.....

i have created a dial up connection in windows 7 and i am using the same, never bothered about it, as even if it disconnects, it will connect automatically.

Mine is speed issue, Don't get disconnected for 5+ hours continuous connectivity
but I don't get more than 300-400 kbps during days, speed kicks in only after 1 AM to 5AM
