BSNL 3G is now offering unlimited data for Rs. 1099 (Rs. 156 for 2GB/Rs. 549 for 10GB)

Yes ! Its truely unlimited, They don't bother even if you download 1TB or whatever you like. BSNL Officially announced these plan in their facebook page, So info is correct. It's just that they are slow to update it in their website also.
 
@Bsnl Super User - :clap: Gr8 calculation, but the problem is, anybody wanting an unlimited pack will likely use it in a dongle on a PC, so the talk-time isn't of paramount importance. Now, if only BSNL offered a balance transfer facility like some of the private carriers, LOL! :nod:

@DloadfCUkr - The plan is definitely legit. BSNL also posted it on its verified Twitter account, not just on FB. The question is 'kab se laagu hoga'? I think from September 1, as the official BSNL website for the Kolkata circle says that the 'special offer' of 9.5GB for 1099 (60-day validity) will stay until August 31. I don't think the new plans have been implemented on Janmashtami as was reported earlier.

Yes, You couldn't use it instantly but could always use the rest of the talktime for the next month Data Pack recharge ( Even if you don't want unlimited datapack for next month, You could always go for that 2GB pack or whichever datapack you want).

Without his JIO we could not have imagined unlimited 3G plans. In fact none of them unlimited 2G too.
 
using 1099 unlimited from last 3 days and downloaded more than 9-10 Gb till date ,speed varies from 200-400 KBps
 
I'm getting 1.5-1.7 MBps In IDM, upto 15 Mbps in speedtest still miss the jio offer though bought the lyf handset for 4200 and just used 1 month unlimited.
 
I was migrated to welcome offer today going to buy the Bsnl sim tommorrow and check 3g speeds before recharging it with 1099. Suggest good 3g usb modem for my desktop which can also provide wifi. Will the jiofi 2 device work with bsnl 3g sim?
