i have finished 7 day unlimited today i want to go for plan 4200/ but dont know if 7 day unlimted sim can be used but i am sure i will go for 4200/ but in bsnl site they want to use bsnl data card if you buy that package can i use it to for mobile usage just for getting plan 4200 and then change sim to huwaei modem and use internet? will i be charged for that?

You can use your sim as you want, there is no such restriction by BSNL that you need to use their data card, in fact most of the members here are not using their(BSNL's) data cards at all.Once you have recharged it with 4200rs. plan or any other plan, u can use the sim as per your choice, so whether you use ur mobile or data card, there is no condition (or any hidden charges). Use it freely as per your convenience.

Yes, you need to use same SIM in any damn modem, no matter modem is purchased from where.I use BSNL 3G with modems from Huawei E160/1550 and sometimes galaxy3 and its works perfectly.

some recharge company like reliance u have to wait until next internet rechage card is finished.but in bsnl the internet recharge with automatically demolish with fresh recharge.u can make recharge with rs 274 or 230 what ever plan in ur state for unlimited gprs connection.use micromax or any suitable modem.I prefer mmx372G modem.insert sim ,go to HSPDA mode .with the cost of 2g u use 3g .But remeber bsnl server track u if u download more than 50 gb in a month...........Apn-bsnlnet
