BSNL 3G UL recharge

Hi I bought a 3G sim a month ago and used it for 7 days without complain.Its been more than a month I have not used it.But now I wanted to recharge the sim with Rs.4200.So anyone let me know do I have to maintain some minimum balance in order to use internet or only Rs. 4200 amount is sufficient to browse/download UL 4 6 months? Can I see balance of Rs. 4200 by dialing *123#?

as far as i know you don't have to keep any balance. but it should not be in negative. but a balance of 50-60 should be enough (to be on safer side)you have to recharge (and not top-up) of Rs.4200/- to get unlimited 3G for 6 months. but check whether this scheme is applicable now because it was for some limited time period and not permanent. you can check your GPRS validity by dialing *112# (applicable in maharashtra for some old series. new series are added slowly)PLEASE VERIFY ALL THE ABOVE INFO WITH SOMEBODY ELSE.

Scheme is available till end of january 2011 i.e for 3 months starting from 1-Nov-2010

You said you bought a sim and used only data download. So you will be having positive balance. Hence you can recharge with 4200.
