yea but where are you going to dnld @100mbps from??and what would be the use of downloading anything if you have that much speed??.. anything on the net will be as good as on your hard disk!!
thats the point, internet connectivity should be so good that you no longer need hard disks anymore, just a simple "internet device" that you can work on... that is what google is trying to do (and MS etc following), at least in the US...
i talked with an system engineer of bsnl and he told that only the link speed will be 100mbps net speed will be far too low.curently bsnl link speed on adsl is max 2048/512 but like fibre optics it will be upgraded to 100mbps stable link speed like lan.net speed will be upto 8mbps max to 24mbps within 3years.but he told that bsnl will limit bandwith usage so that users dont choke the network.the network will be capable of transfers upto 100mbps whereas the present is 2mbps but net speed will remain far too slow this is his explanation:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:
