BSNL broadband connection issue / modem down ?

Hi everybody,I'm living in Bangalore, and since several days I've been experiencing some issues with my internet conection.Seems that my modem (USStarcom adsl router) is not going well : lot of disconnection and lost of ADSL signal (ADSL led is off). It started last week with some problems when exchanging huge files (video) between my desktop and laptop by the wifi lan. Even in that case I lost the connection between the PC and the laptop while no internet exchang is required. I'm thinking the router is down. How could I know this is a problem with the router or with the ADSL line ?This morning all LED except the internet one were on and fixed, which is unhabittual. Regards,Marius.
