Bsnl broadband connection

I am a bsnl broadband 500c customer my problem is broadband connection disconnect within 5-10 seconds and automatically redial and connect within 1 second.When i am download using utorrent the speed reaches between 150-200 KB/s then the connection disconnected then again redial and reconnect.At the time of disconnection DSL light in the modem is steady.I am change the connection type to PPPOe over ethernet in this after some time no incoming connection download rate become 0. My modem is DNA-A211-I.I am said about this pboblem to bsnl authorities they said this problem due to a virus.Is that true ?.I have this problem in windows as well as in linux.
