Hi all, just wanted to share my experience on the GLB502T. Recently, a friend of mine (a GLB502T user) told me of a similar problem that many of you have mentioned of. He too was very dissatisfied with the device. While helping him, I too tried everything at my end (configuration and stuff) including the MAC address idea but nothing seemed to work. daddykazaa also mentioned of a heating problem & that he placed his modem vertically which seemed to have resolved his problem. So I tried analyzing this: the modem would work better and longer when powered on for the first time & then disconnect. To reconnect, the device had to be left powered off for a while. & the process followed….Now I was sure that it was because of heat. I removed the top cover of the device, located the Chip(IC) that was getting hot and placed a few coins above it (to absorb the heat) and tried it. Trust me, the device is working without a single disconnect till date. (Now the coins are replaced by a heat sink).Note: Some claim that they have been using the modem in Air Conditioned rooms. Air conditions don’t give us the liberty to use our computers without the CPU fans, heat sinks and absorbents because of amount of heat dissipated from them. So… air conditioned rooms are not the answer to this problem. Thanks daddykazaa!!! :D You helped me resolve the problem.

^ Ujjal , pls give us details of the heat sink .material , size , shape and how to add it ...
