BSNL broadband internet not working due to electricity

I'm using BSNL broadband from past 5-6 months and it was working fine. But from past 10-15 days it stopped working and I've noticed that when my area electricity goes off, it works awesome on inverter and i don't know why it doesn't work on electricity. Is there any voltage issue or something else? Should i change my modem? Line man says there's no problem in line and its clear from any electric wire. My landline works fine, also my modem shows dsl but no internet.

Get the earthing of your home checked. Your home may be having a weak earthing and an electrical appliance is leaking power. On inverter it may be working because the particular electrical appliance is not connected to inverter power.

Can it may be some problem in modem due to voltage difference???
