BSNL Broadband: Modem ZTE 831 Aii

Sir, I found that my modem configuration set already in "Always on" with "pppoe mode". When i started my modem first time in a day it could not be started automatically. The power & PC light (Red & Green) light on continously. but Yello & Green (middle position) lights not started. When I am again trying it off & on the yellow light move on and still but the green one (data) light not started. Plz suggest what is the problem with my modem & how it to be correct. Anil

is your telephone line working? try connecting a telephone to the line which goes to the modem and check whether your hear a dial tone
