1. Ok for laptop on lan mode, directly connected to BSNL Modem

2. Yes, my BSNL modem page looks exactly like the one you have shown in the picture.

yes, on only one laptop, i can wirelessly connect to the network.
The network shows up on the other desktop but can not connect to it using the same 
password/WPA-PSK wireless settings as the laptop.


Ok.   

(A)confirm Second 2nd system is desktop or laptop.
Connect  in lan mode and   also check wifi mode.
(B) if needed.
Back to NetgearWGR614 settings. .
Check under Advanced settings  .
Wireless.   confirm Access list is NOT enabled.
Details of systems  allowed not listed./filled up.

Access control was on. Disabled it and now can connect on desktop, on my HTC HD Desire phone as well !!!Thanks a lot to you essbebe
